On my list so far:
- Art after Dark at the Guggenheim. It's supposed to be an amazing party in the
museum with DJs, drinks, and art. What's not to love? - Go to the top of the Empire State Building. Yes, I know. I grew up going to New York every other weekend, yet I haven't done this.
- Some of the Thursday night concert series at the South Street Seaport.
- Bryant Park Summer Season--free music, dance & film across the street from Jer's office.
- Metropolitan Opera Parks: free performances through June and July.
- Museum Mile Festival: museum open-house (second Sunday in June).
- Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade
- New York Jazz Festival
- Howl Festival at Tompkins Square Park
- Wine classes at the Astor Center

You should go to Wave Hill in Riverdale for a "sunset supper"--dinner on the old estate overlooking the Hudson--on a Wednesday night.
Also, I've never been but heard about a first Friday thing at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, similar to the Guggenheim thing in a way, but more dancing focused
u should hang out with me!!
Alejandra, I thought that was a given!
oh, and you should weekend (at least once) in the "country" aka Connecticut (meaning with me, of course)
And, my parents love Mercer Kitchen. I haven't been but have heard only wonderful things.
